Moreover, the event offers interactive experiences like the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage and the YETI Junior World Finals, enhancing the overall visit. Here’s a breakdown of some highlighted areas:
Ranch Water Rodeo Saloon:
A focal point near the east end of Cowboy Christmas, this saloon presents specialty drinks, collectible cups, and screens airing the previous night’s Wrangler NFR performance. Adjacent to the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage, it’s a prime spot to witness the action.
Ariat Rodeo Live Stage:
Undergoing a complete renovation this year, the stage hosts diverse daily programming. From The RMEF Calcutta to engaging shows like “Outside the Barrel” with Flint Rasmussen and Cowboy Revival with Shane Minor, it keeps the energy high. The Cowboy Channel NFR Tailgate Party amps up excitement before each Wrangler NFR performance.
Bites & Brews presented by Total Feeds:
Featuring new vendors this year, Bites & Brews promises a delectable experience. Positioned on the Convention Center’s second floor, attendees can enjoy live feeds from the YETI Junior World Finals while indulging in various culinary delights.
Wrangler NFR After Dark:
A bigger and better interactive space akin to the lively Las Vegas Strip. Offering top entertainers, restaurant options, viewing parties, and NFR Experience activities across host hotel properties during the entire Wrangler NFR period.
Wrangler Rodeo Arena:
Witness the future rodeo stars in action at the YETI Junior World Finals within the Wrangler Rodeo Arena. With general and VIP seating for over 1,000 fans, this event takes place on the South Hall’s second floor amid the RMEF Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo.
Junior World Finals presented by YETI:
Continuing its fourth consecutive year in Las Vegas, this event features qualifiers and finals across nine disciplines, catering to various age groups.
The event also offers a delightful shopping experience, making it a prime spot for holiday gifts for cowboys or cowgirls. Additionally, there’s a clear bag policy in place, allowing fans to bring in one clear bag not exceeding specified dimensions along with a small clutch bag for privacy.
Todd and Sheila Thorp from Leawood, Kansas, expressed amazement at their first Cowboy Christmas, recommending a full 10-day experience due to its vast offerings. With approximately 350 vendors spread over 444,000 square feet, the event attracts around 230,000 visitors, showcasing an eclectic mix of city dwellers, cowboys, and rodeo enthusiasts.
The festive spirit, although evident with holiday displays and carols, predominantly celebrates the cowboy culture. Amidst the shopping frenzy, the event caters to every aspect of the cowboy lifestyle, offering an exhaustive range of products for horses, cowboys, ranches, and more.
From horse gear to cowboy attire, furniture to accessories, and even culinary delights and unique gifts, Cowboy Christmas is a haven for enthusiasts. Attendees can meet diverse cowboys from different regions, each representing a unique facet of the cowboy culture. It’s a convergence of mini-cultures, celebrating the larger cowboy heritage in one vibrant gathering.
