Safety is Key Here
Safety has always been important to the NFR and the venue feels that way as well. To make sure that all of the patrons are safe at the Thomas and Mack Center, the NFR has started to implement a bag policy. The clear bag policy has been used here for many years now, and the NFR wants spectators to know that it is still in place for the NFR Championships coming up on December 14.
Although fans are asked not to bring large bags into the venue, there are bags that are permitted. The bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC. They need to be smaller than 12 x 6 x 12 inches in size. Fans can bring in one-gallon, clear plastic freezer bags, and small purses or clutches, with or without a handle, and do not exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches in size. There are exceptions made if you are bringing in a child and need to bring in a diaper bag. The bags will be searched at the gate.
There are specific types of bags that are prohibited at the venue. No purses that are larger than a clutch bag are permitted to bring in, along with briefcases. Fans cannot bring in backpacks, cinch bags, or fanny packs unless they are clear. There is no luggage that can be brought in or computer or camera bags. It is important for fans to know that if they want to bring in a camera, the best option is to just bring in their mobile phones in order to take pictures.
Fans of the NFR can learn more about what bags are permitted on the Thomas and Mack website. If fans are planning on taking anything in, they must be sure to follow all of these rules of bags. The bags that are brought in will be searched, no questions asked.
The Thomas and Mack Center want nothing more than fans to be safe and aware of their surroundings when they are attending the NFR. It is important that all fans are having a good time and are not worried about safety.
For fans of the NFR, the Championships will be at the Thomas and Mack Center on December 5th and these events will be held for ten consecutive days here. Fans will be able to see their favorite riders and ropers. All of the events are also available on the NFR mobile app.
With the NFR mobile app, fans will get all the news and contestant updates. If you are unable to get tickets for all ten days, this app will help you to stay on top of what is happening and your favorite riders.
