Although fans are asked not to bring large bags into the venue, there are bags that are permitted. The bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC. They need to be smaller than 12 x 6 x 12 inches in size. Fans can bring in one-gallon, clear plastic freezer bags, and small purses or clutches, with or without a handle, and do not exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches in size. There are exceptions made if you are bringing in a child and need to bring in a diaper bag. The bags will be searched at the gate.

There are specific types of bags that are prohibited at the venue. No purses that are larger than a clutch bag are permitted to bring in, along with briefcases. Fans cannot bring in backpacks, cinch bags, or fanny packs unless they are clear. There is no luggage that can be brought in or computer or camera bags. It is important for fans to know that if they want to bring in a camera, the best option is to just bring in their mobile phones in order to take pictures.

Cowboy Christmas is one of the best events during the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas. It is every single day during the WNFR from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Las Vegas. The entire event is why some people come for the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas. The event runs alongside the NFR from December 3rd until the 12th. The event is free to attend for anyone but you have to pay $10 for parking unless you are staying at a Las Vegas hotel and you can walk to the convention center.

The event covers seven and a half football fields or 444,000 square feet in the convention center and features over 350 vendors. This is the 33rd year in a row that the event is being held in conjunction with the Las Vegas Rodeo. You can easily spend several full days taking in all of the different vendors and experiences at this incredible event. The entire convention draws about 230,000 people which is an incredible amount of people for just 10 days.

The Great Wall of Rodeo is one of the fan favorites at the event and you can spend a lot of time just admiring how amazing it is. The wall features all of the fan favorites for the upcoming rodeo and a bunch of fun interactive elements that fans love to play with. A lot of the rodeo stars that compete at night are there during the day signing autographs for fans and interacting with fans as well so everyone can get a sense of how difficult competing in the rodeo is.

Another great area of the Rodeo Saloon which is located near the East end of the convention center. It is safe to say that there is something for everyone at the Cowboy Christmas, there is every type of clothing from T-shirts to finely tailored leather garments, camo beer belts that can hold a cold six-pack of beer, a bronze statue of a stag that costs $65,000, National Finals Rodeo firearms, make your own whiskey, and so many other options that we could go on for pages. You just have to go for yourself and find all of the interesting and incredible offerings that this event has to offer.

Please note that there is a big restriction on what you can actually bring into the convention center. There are a few rules to the bags that you can bring in. The bag cannot exceed 12” x 17” x 6”. Rolling bags of any kind are banned, including luggage, laptop and computer bags, and anything else regardless of how big it is. Make sure you keep that in mind if you are heading to the event so that you do not have to run back to your car or hotel to switch bags.

It is the third time that the racer of the barrel has won the number 1 back number. He was Charmayne James who won the number in 1987, Mary Burger won in 2016, and Sherry Cervi won in 1995.

It sounds interesting that the age of oldest competitor Burger is 68 years and four months. The age of youngest competitor Ryder Wright is 18 years and nine months.

The Family Affair

There are several connections in the family at NFR Wrangler in 2016. In bronc saddle riding, there are 15 competitors, and 10 of these are related to each other in this field.

Contractors of stock are paid over $8,900 for each head for livestock; they bring to the NFR wrangler and mileage. Coops were behind the Mack and Thomas Center house all this stock.
