It takes plenty of dirt over 2,000 tons for outside stalls and stadium. Inside the stadium, the dirt is almost 12 to 15 inches thick. You can see over 700 heads of playful livestock at T&M, including 50 flag and grand entry horses, 90 horses for contestants, 120 steers, 75 claves, and 310 bucking stock heads. They eat lots of food. The Wrangler national finals rodeo needs 100 to 120 tons of grass or hay, 70 tons of pasture and 60 tons of grains.
Do you wonder what it takes to transform the Mack and Thomas Center from one basketball arena to home of the wealthiest rodeo of the world?
